What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a state of consciousness involving an induced state of relaxation and concentration in which deeper parts of the mind and subconscious become accessible.

You can experience a “trance-like” hypnotic state in everyday living, for example: becoming totally involved watching a movie, driving on a familiar route where you do not quite remember part of the journey or simply daydreaming.

The use of hypnosis for therapeutic purposes is referred to as “hypnotherapy”, while its use as a form of entertainment for an audience is known as “stage hypnosis”.

Clinical Hypnotherapy Vs Holistic Hypnotherapy 

Clinical Hypnotherapy comprises working with the the mental, emotional and physical landscape of the mind. Clients are taken into a relaxed state and provided with suggestions to help re-program their subconscious. This often involves techniques such as Suggestion Therapy and Parts Therapy. 

Holistic Hypnotherapy extends this even further by working with the WHOLE being, including the energetic and spiritual aspects. This is with the power of Hypnoenergetics. A blend of clinical hypnotherapy and spiritual hypnotherapy, creating deep energy work and shifts in your consciousness to provide healing on all levels of your being. It’s an incredibly powerful holistic approach to hypnotherapy.

Holistic Hypnotherapy works with age regression techniques, energetic releases and other tools to help you to uncover the WHY and release what is holding you back at your core. Helping you to discover the limiting patterns and beliefs that are holding you back from experiencing your true potential.

It helps identify and reprogram your negative patterns, habits and behaviours, creating change from deep within your subconscious mind. Helping you to discover the what, why, when and how. This often involves regressing back to your childhood to where the issue began or even back into past life memories.

When the powerful modality of hypnotherapy is used in the context of energy it broadens the potential for healing even further. We move from it being a step based process into an energetic experience guided by your own deepest wisdom which provides insight and empowers you to heal yourself.

Getting Ready

Practice meditation and relaxation techniques prior to your session can assist in your ability to deeply relax and let go.

thumb_01_60_60CLEAR INTENTION

Come with a clear intention of what you wish to work on. This may be a physical, mental, emotional or spiritual issue.

thumb_01_60_60PREPARE YOUR SPACE

If your session is online, make sure you have set up a nice quiet space for your session. Set up all of your technology needs and make sure you will not have any outer distractions.

thumb_01_60_60REMAIN OPEN MINDED

Wear comfortable clothing. Bring a shawl or blanket, ensure you are warm. Have some water with you. 

thumb_01_60_60CLEAR YOUR SCHEDULE

Give yourself time after your session to ground yourself and integrate your experience. If possible avoid needing to return to work or undertake any busy activities afterwards. It is good to go home and reflect. Quiet time is recommended if possible.

Avoid caffeine where possible before your session.
